Artificial Habitat is a blog dedicated to writing about science, with an emphasis on biology, particularly marine biology.

The author, Andrew Guerin, has recently completed a PhD concerned with artificial reefs and their associated marine life, which explains the title of the blog.

Matters not relating to science, and other content that doesn’t fit within the remit of this blog can be found at posterous, and up to the minute updates on such crucial matters as what kind of sandwich the author is eating can be found on twitter.

If you’ve visited the blog before, and are wondering what happened to all those rants about those things, they’ve been shifted to another blog in order to allow the focus of Artificial Habitat to remain on science.
